I am Stefano, a passionate Italian chef who found his calling amidst the stoves. My career has been a fascinating journey through flavours and culinary traditions, where every dish tells a story and every ingredient is chosen with care. I have always believed that cooking is an art that goes beyond mere food preparation; it is a way to express emotions and create connections. My passion for cooking was born in Piedmont, a region rich in food and wine traditions that taught me the value of quality and sustainability. Every day, I strive to carry on this legacy, innovating and experimenting with respect and dedication.

Chapter Two

My Culinary Journey

I began my culinary journey in some of the most renowned restaurants in Piedmont and beyond. My training was enriched by significant experiences at Osteria La Torre in Cherasco and Museum Restaurant in Alba, where I honed my skills in both traditional and international cuisine. My journey also took me to London, to Gola Restaurant, where I was able to explore new techniques and flavours. However, it was at Guido Ristorante of the Alciati Family that I truly understood the importance of tradition and innovation. Today, as chef and owner of Osteria Il Barrique in Cherasco, I have the opportunity to express my culinary vision, combining the experience accumulated over the years with my innate creativity.

I love bringing haute cuisine directly into homes, offering a service that goes beyond a simple meal.
