I began my culinary journey as a kitchen commis at the 'Baia del Capitano' Hotel in Cefalù, where I honed my skills in preparing fresh fish and shellfish. Subsequently, I had the opportunity to work as a demi chef at the 'Alberi del Paradiso' Hotel, where I perfected the art of finishing appetisers. My career continued at the 'Le Calette' Hotel, where I worked closely with the chef to create innovative dishes. The turning point came with the role of chef de partie at the 'Al Gabbiano' Restaurant in Mondello, where I was able to express my creativity in preparing appetisers. My journey then led me to the prestigious Therasia Resort Sea & Spa in Vulcano, where I held various roles, from chef de partie to sous chef, eventually becoming the head chef. Here, I had the opportunity to manage the kitchen brigade, devise recipes with local products, and ensure the quality of the courses, further refining my leadership and management skills.
