I am Eliza, a Latvian-born chef who has found her second home in the United Arab Emirates. My passion for cooking stems from the fusion of my homeland's culinary traditions with the cosmopolitan influences I have embraced along my journey. I have always believed that cooking is an art capable of telling stories and creating deep connections. I work with dedication to transform simple ingredients into unique gastronomic experiences, respecting nature and valuing health and well-being. Each dish I create is a tribute to the beauty of simplicity and the refinement of gourmet, vegan, and vegetarian cuisine. My vision is to unite diverse flavours and cultures, creating a harmony that reflects my identity as an international chef.

Chapter Two

My Culinary Journey

I began my journey in the world of hospitality by working as a waitress and assistant cook at the 'Trīs kambari' Pub during the summers, where I acquired the basics of management and menu planning. Subsequently, I honed my skills in various establishments, including the Chinese restaurant 'Ginger' and the 'Cultural bar Sapņi un Kokteiļi'. My experience was further enriched at the 'Domini Canes' restaurant, where I worked as an assistant cook. In 2017, I had the opportunity to manage the kitchen at 'Little Kitchen' and serve as manager at the 'Driftwood Lodge' hotel. My career took a significant turn when I became a chef and manager at 'Ladybug Roasters', where I was able to fully express my culinary creativity. Currently, I work as a menu creator and consultant for the 'New Earth Cafe' in Dubai, where I continue to explore new gastronomic frontiers.

Becoming a Private Chef

My transition to the role of private chef was driven by the desire to offer personalised and high-quality culinary experiences. I love bringing fine dining into my clients' homes, creating dishes that reflect their tastes and dietary needs. This choice has allowed me to combine my passion for healthy cooking with attention to detail and service care. Every private event is an opportunity to explore new flavour combinations and to establish a direct and authentic relationship with those who choose to rely on my expertise.
